The SRC Charity Tennis Tournament 2016 was held from November 4th to November 6th. This year tournament continued to support The You Dao Foundation.
On Friday 4th November, SRC held the Pro-Am Charity Tennis. There were 12 members joined in the event. The members were divided into 4 SRC Pro’s Team. There were 100 players participated in the whole event (11 Adult Teams and 17 Junior Teams). The tournament were competed in Teams Format for both Juniors and Adults. The winners were awarded with prizes and the team that came last was equally joyful as they knew that the fund raised is all for a good cause.
There were many other activities that helped to raise money during the month of October including the Charity Private Tennis Lessons and the selling of raffle tickets. Special thanks to all the sponsors and supporters who have helped to make this event a success.
The Charity Tournament Dinner was held at the SRC - Racquets Restaurant. There were approximately 140 members and guests attended. Mr. Compton Tothill, the chairman of The You Dao Foundation attended at the tournament dinner and gave a short speech about The You Dao Foundation. Pak Persian Carpets supported the event by providing carpets for silent auction and conducted a live auction.
