On Saturday 17th November 2012, nine You Dao scholarship families came to the Qi Cai Tong Nian Kindergarten in Fengxian for a “family day”.

The children, their parents and relatives and the You Dao staff all played games together. A prize was awarded to three of the families.

Teacher Lynn of You Dao gave a talk to the parents about child development. At the same time the children were with the other You Dao staff doing other activities in the class-room which included drawing and making greeting cards.

Afterwards, all the family had snacks and drinks together and had some informal chat with the You Dao staff.

At the end of the activities, gifts such as dictionaries and shampoo were given to each family.
