The Girl Scouts (5-6 years old) of Yew Chung International School - Pudong organized a bake sale to raise money for our Beiyaowan program during Christmas last year.  The girl scouts used the money to purchase sport equipment including soccer balls, basketballs, badminton sets, jump ropes, scooters and they bring their donation to give to our children in Beiyaowan on April 9th, 2011.
Children in Beiyaowan were excited to have the new equipment, especially they will spend more time outside as the weather gets warmer.  The M-Kids volunteers showed the girl scouts around the center and invited them to participate in the different activities with the migrant children.  The girl scouts were happy to made the recycled bags and participate in the outdoor game. We show our appreciation of the donation by presenting the girl scouts with a collection of artworks created by migrant children in Beiyaowan center.
